The Rhode Island Nurses Institute Middle College Charter High School, located in Providence, opened during the summer of 2011 to educate the next generation of nurses with a focus on health technology, public health, and home-based care. We are the first public charter high school in the U.S. focused on nursing and health care and the first middle college in the State of RI. We currently serve students from 19 school districts.
How RINIMC is different?
Early college courses are embedded as part of the RINI curriculum at no cost to students and families. Early college exposure orientates students to the demands of higher education and increases the likelihood of college graduation. All students who graduate from RINI earn college credits and as many as 22 credits toward their college nursing or health care provider degree.
We have established a reputation for academic and professional excellence. Please click on the "In the News" tab to see how our innovative model has already made local and national news!
