SKYWARD COURSE LEARNING CENTER
The Skyward Student Information System is the hub for all student data at RINI. The Skyward SIS offers a Learning Management System called the Course Learning Center (CLC), which provides content sharing, digital lockers, and a discussion board that also integrates with our Gradebook and Lesson Plan modules
Blendspace is an interactive digital platform where teachers and students can collect, annotate and share digital resources. This tool allows teachers to create playlists of content for students in a creative way in a blended learning environment
Google Classroom is designed to help teachers create and collect assignments paperlessly, including time-saving features like the ability to automatically make a copy of a Google document for each student. It also creates Drive folders for each assignment and for each student to help keep everyone organized.
SUPPLEMENTAL CONTENT AND PRACTICE SYSTEMS
IXL Learning is a math & language arts practice website for K-12. It has unlimited questions on thousands of math topics and language arts content. This system also provides a comprehensive reporting system to track student progress
Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization that produces micro lectures in the form of YouTube videos and offers analytics to track student progress. Teachers can also create coaching groups where they can assign student practice and collect data on student progress

RENAISSANCE STAR ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
STAR is a comprehensive assessment system aligned to common core state standards. The STAR assessment system will allow us to track student performance and provide supplemental resources on an individualized basis
Socrative is a formative assessment tool that allows teachers to create engaging activities designed to track student learning
Kahoot is a formative assessment tool that uses gamification to turn quizzes into interactive games that help teachers track student progress in a fun engaging way
FLIPPED CLASSROOM RESOURCES
A platform for storing videos containing instructional content. Youtube is a component of Google Apps for education, therefore, all teachers at RINI Middle College have a Youtube channel through their Google account
EduCanon is an online learning environment to create and share interactive video lessons. Teachers begin with any YouTube, Vimeo, or TeacherTube video content (screencasts, Khan Academy, Minute Physics, TED, NOVA, etc.) and transform what is traditionally passive content into an active experience for students

Movenote is a one-of-a-kind video presentation tool online and on your portable devices. Movenote videos can be watched on any device that supports video, no matter if they have movenote on them or not. You can use movenote directly from your Gmail and your Google Drive and on any desktop computer, laptop, iOS or Android device
A simple video screen capture software that allows you to record classroom instruction. Screencastify is a Google extension that is preloaded on all RINI teacher accounts
Sofia is an extensive collection of educational resources for teachers and students. The resources are available for both teachers and students

CommonLit is a classroom resource that provides teachers with collection of poems, short stories, news articles, historical documents, and literature.
New product that allows you to upload a text (word doc, pdf, URL), and then create annotations including questions, quizzes, links, and videos. Very easy to use, provides lots of data, and is a nice way to use blended and/or flipped learning without relying solely on videos.
Newsela is an innovative way to build reading comprehension with nonfiction that's always relevant: daily news. It's easy and amazing. This software will allow teachers to select the desired text by lexile score to aid in differentiated instruction
Text to speech software which allows kids to talk and have the program write for them. It also has a predictive typing feature, dictionary with visuals, and a highlighting feature where you can highlight a text in different colors. When you click ‘collect highlights’, it will create a google doc with the different colored highlights grouped together
Rewordify.com is powerful, free, online software that improves reading, learning, and teaching. This site can: Intelligently simplify difficult English, for faster comprehension. Effectively teach words, for building a better vocabulary.
